HTCondor European Workshop 2026
May 20, 2026We are very pleased to announce that the 2026 European HTCondor Workshop will be held from Tuesday, 29 September to Friday, 2 October, sponsored by our generous host, IN2P3’s Computing Centre (CC-IN2P3) in Lyon, FR.
Please save the dates!
About the Workshop
The workshop provides an excellent venue to:
- Meet the HTCondor developers
- Find out what is new or going away
- Exchange knowledge between colleagues
- Provide feedback to the experts
Participation is open to all organisations (including companies) and persons interested in HTCondor. If you know potentially interested persons, don’t hesitate to make them aware of this opportunity. Whether an HTCondor user or administrator, we would very much like to know about your experiences with HTCondor — your projects, your stories, and your plans.
The workshop will cover both using and administering HTCondor; topics will be chosen to best match participants’ interests. Short presentations are warmly encouraged, and there will as always be time for spontaneous interactive “show us your toolbox” sessions, which have proven very popular in previous meetings.
Registration and abstract submissions will open soon — a dedicated message will be sent once available.
Collocated IGWN Meeting — Monday, 28 September
There will be a collocated meeting on Monday, 28 September for sites who support gravitational waves research, such as LIGO-Virgo-Kagra or the International Gravitational-Wave Observatory Network (IGWN), with grid computing or related services (such as storage, OSDF cache or origin servers). The goal of the meeting is to discuss future plans and support for this collaboration.
We invite all sites who work with the LVK or IGWN to register for Monday and join the discussion.
